M. K. Institute of Computer Studies is a part of Shri S'ad Vidya Mandal (SVM), Bharuch. SVM was established in 1954 as a Public Trust & Register under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 & also under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. This Institute is housed in a newly constructed building. Having well equipped Computer Laboratories & Comfortable Class Rooms along with other necessary amenities. The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University has approved this Institute & given the status of affiliated College for conducting Bachelor's of Computer Application & Master of Science in Computer Application course under financing scheme.

M.K.College of commerce is a Grant-in-aid college established in June 1967, affiliated to Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat and included in the list prepared by UGC under section 2F & 12B of the UGC Act, 1956 vide letter No. UGC/42-850 dated 03-04-1969 to 2f and letter No. UGC/9556/2004 on 28/08/2004 to 12 B.
It was a matter of pride that the college was the first of its kind providing education in Commerce till 1988 in Bharuch District. On 21 November 1986, Vice Chancellor Prof. Mukund Trivedi inaugurated the Post Graduate Study Center in the college, the first P.G.center in the district. The College celebrated its silver Jubilee year in June 1992.

To meet the ever increasing needs of technical personnel in Industry, as also to enhance the frontiers of knowledge in the field of technology, Shri S’ad Vidya Mandal Institute of Technology was established in August 1996 as a self finance Institute. The Institute has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and by the Government of Gujarat. In academic year 2011-12 our first batch under Gujarat Technological University (GTU) has graduated with almost 100% results in all the disciplines.
